Το 1966 μαζί με τους Eric Kitteringham και Norman Damery ιδρύει τους Taste και μαζί τους γνωρίζει μεγάλη επιτυχία με τα δύο άλμπουμ που πρόλαβαν να κυκλοφορήσουν ( "Taste" και "On the Boards").
